THE REMNANT!!! FEW OR MANY?
THE MORAL DEEDS OF CHRISTIAN'S TODAY.
According to Acts 11: 26 "And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch".
Christ apostles were called christian based on good and acceptable moral conducts. Can you and I be called Christians today based on our deeds?
The World gives the population as 7,095,217,980 (July 2013 est.) and the distribution of religions as Christian 33.39% (of which Roman Catholic 16.85%, Protestant 6.15%, Orthodox 3.96%, Anglican 1.26%), Muslim 22.74%, Hindu 13.8%, Buddhist 6.77%, Sikh 0.35%, Jewish 0.22%, Baha'i 0.11%, other religions 10.95%, ...
The above data indicates that, Christians occupies 33.39% of the worlds population. Is Christianity about numbers? Does your attitudes make you a christian or a church goer? PLEASE think about it. We are called into a HOLY family to live a HOLY LIFE like THE SAVIOR (Christ) did.
1 Peter 2:9 - 11; But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy
nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
OUR dressing, eating habits, words, association, interest, life style, within the vicinity in which we finds our self counts.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16, For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17, And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Jesus is coming very soon, the signs we are witnessing to (Matthew 24) around us are all testifying to the nearness of His soon coming. ATTENDING church alone does not save or bring salvation, there is more to that. WATCH YOUR WAY AND WALK UPRIGHTLY TO GLORIFY GOD.
Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
AMEN

Why Am I Sick?

In many cases sickness has nothing to do with punishment for sin. In fact, God often uses suffering for His glory and our own good.

Scripture:

“[The Lord] said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” II Corinthians 12:9
What is your health like? Do you know that God loves you and can work in your life, even if you are suffering physically?

What You Might Have Heard

Many Christians have heard that sickness or illness is caused by your sin or weak faith. Under Old Testament Law, God promised the nation of Israel: “If you listen to [God’s] regulations and faithfully obey them,... the Lord will protect you from all sickness” (Deuteronomy 7:12, 15).
But “if you refuse to listen to the Lord your God, all these curses will come and overwhelm you (Deuteronomy 28:15), including being afflicted “with diseases” (Deuteronomy 28:21). Does that still apply today?
Christians today don't want to be afflicted in their christian life, all because some preacher confidently have assure them total freedom when they meet Christ.

Sickness Itself Is Not Evidence of A Curse

In many places, God’s Word gives hope to those suffering sickness. In John 9:1-3, Jesus Himself explained that a man’s infirmity was not a punishment: “As Jesus was walking along, He saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Rabbi,” His disciples asked Him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?” “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him.”

God Uses Our Trials For His Glory

The Apostle Paul wrote much of the New Testament. Very few Christians have been used to bring God glory as much as God used Him. However, God allowed Paul to suffer, to have “a thorn in [his] flesh” which he repeatedly “begged the Lord to take away” (II Corinthians 12:7-8).
The Lord did not answer Paul’s prayer with a “yes;” instead, God used this suffering for His glory, for Paul’s good, and for the building up of the Church.
You may discover that it is God’s will for you to endure illness. It is not His will for you to accept it passively, but to ask for recovery, even recruiting others to pray along with you.
